The Terms of Reference for each Sub-committee was made known by Rev. Isaac Adza Tettey, the Regional Economic Planning Officer of the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council (VRCC) through a presentation.

In inaugurating the Sub-Committees, the Hon. Regional Minister stated “A lot of progress is made towards the fair”. He indicated that the fair was attracting a lot of interest; hence there was the need to ensure its success.

Dr. Letsa also stated that the fair had nothing to do with politics, but with the development of the region. In this regard, he said there was the need for all to work together towards a successful fair.

Furthermore, he entreated members of each Sub-Committee to work hard in delivering on their Terms of Reference, for without them the success of the fair would be in jeopardy.

Finally, he reminded the Planning Committee to consider seriously post-fair activities targeted at assessing the fair and its impact.

The inauguration of the Sub-committees took place in the VRCC Conference Hall, and amongst the dignitaries present were Mr. Maxwell Qophy Blagodzi, the Hon Deputy Minister for Oti Region, Mr. Nelson Akorli, Municipal Chief Executive for Ho Municipal Assembly, and Mr Felix B.
