The Hon. Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Mr Maxwell Qophy Blagodzi called on the Volta Regional House of Chiefs at their meeting held on Thursday, 22nd June 2018 at the Regional House of Chiefs, Ho. The call was to officially introduce the new Chief Director of the Regional Coordinating Council, Mr Felix B. Chaahaah on behalf of the Hon. Volta Regional Minister to the House.

Mr Blagodzi used the opportunity to relay the greetings from the Hon. Regional Minister to the House and stated that the Hon. Minister had wished to be present to introduce the Chief Director to the House but for his official travel outside the country to woo investors for the region.

He then introduced Mr Chaahaah to the House.

Addressing the House, the Chief Director said he was in the Region to perform his duties effectively and efficiently for the region’s development. He, therefore, solicited the support of the House in performing his duties. He requested that the revered chiefs offer him advice and direction as he went about his duties.

The Vice President of the Regional House of Chiefs Togbega Tepre Hodo IV, on behalf of the President of the Regional House of Chiefs, the National President of the National House of Chiefs and on his own behalf welcomed the Chief Director and assured him that their doors were always opened to him. He expressed confidence that the Chief Director’s tenure of office in the region would be successful. He, therefore, wished him the very best of luck.

The Hon. Deputy Minister on behalf of the of the Hon. Regional Minister presented Six(6) Bottles of  Castle Bridge Dry Gin,  One (1) Crate of Guinness , One (1) Crate of Beer, Two(2) Crates of Assorted Drinks, a Bottle of a Foreign Drink, Six (6) Boxes of Bottled Mineral Water,  among others to support the meeting of the House.
