On Monday, 5th July, 2021, the Management of the E.P. College of Education, Amedzofe, led by Dr. Dickson Tsey, the Principal, was at the office of the Hon. Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, as a follow-up to their invitation to the Hon. Regional Minister to participate in the 75th Anniversary Launch of the College slated for Friday, 16th July, 2021.

They also used the call to request that the Hon. Regional Minister facilitate the participation of the Hon. Minister for Education although they had sent him an invitation.

Furthermore, they shared with the Hon. Regional Minister some challenges facing the College. Among the challenges were the following:1. Deplorable nature of the road from the Amedzofe town to the College and the campus roads.2. Inadequacy of classroom blocks, auditorium, halls of residence and residential accommodation for lecturers and staff.

The challenges were discussed and the Hon. Regional Minister shared with them the steps Government was taking to have the challenges addressed.

Dr. Letsa made them aware that Government, through the Ministry of Education, had the plan of implementing a policy aimed at providing the needed support to all colleges of education befitting of their new status as tertiary institutions.

He assured them of contacting the Hon. Minister for Education on his participation in the launch.

Finally, he assured them of his participation in the Anniversary Launch.
