On the 11^th of March, 2021, a three-member team from Ghana Enterprises Agency, Department of Community Development and Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit, monitored selected artisans in Avadre and Wute communities in the Akatsi South Municipal.

The artisans had benefited from training sponsored by UNICEF in building different types of household latrines under the Results Based Financing Community Led Total Sanitation in the municipality. The objective of the monitoring was to ascertain the progress of their work in the municipality and its environs and also how their delivery is enhancing positively on achieving open defecation free status in the municipality.

Each of the artisans interacted with has built at least seven latrines after they have received the training.
