Volta Region is one of Ghana's ten administrative regions. It is to the east of Lake Volta. Its capital is Ho. The Volta region of Ghana, lies to the east of the Volta lake. The region covers an area of 20,570 square kilometres representing 8.6% of Ghana.
Our Mission
The Volta Regional Coordinating Council exists to facilitate the overall development of the Volta Region by efficiently Harmonizing, Coordinating, Monitoring and Evaluating all Plans and Programmes of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), District Assemblies (DAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the region within the context of Excellence, Transparency and Accountable governance.
